New Opportunity: Volunteer Trustee Positions

Veterans Community Network (VCN) is a local registered charity in England (1191970) that operates across Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire.

We provide support to local veterans, reservists and adult family members who need support accessing mental health treatment and wrap around support such as access to housing, benefits and employment support. We also have an outdoor hub located in Sharnbrook in Bedford which offers social prescribing activities.

We work closely with other partners from both the statutory and charity sector.

We have both paid employees and volunteers, all of whom have a military connection (Peer Mentoring).

We are looking to recruit Volunteer Trustees to sit on our Board of Trustees. We are keen to hear from individuals who have a strong back ground in charity governance, safeguarding, substance misuse, mental health, bid writing or who have lived military experience. Geographical location is not important as our monthly Trustee meetings are held online via Zoom.
